LONDON - Sebastian Horn has been appointed as Deputy Editor-in-Chief for ZEIT ONLINE, the online offering of the German weekly national newspaper DIE ZEIT, effective January 2018. He will be responsible for all journalistic product development as well as user engagement. Alina Fichter has been appointed as a Member of ZEIT ONLINE 's Editorial Team, effective February 2018. She will be responsible for the strategic direction and format development in the areas of audio and video. BR (Radio) - Bayern 2
The German public broadcaster Bayerischer Rundfunk (BR) will launch a new weekend programme on 13th January 2018, covering culture and social issues on Saturdays and Sundays from 9.05am to 12.00pm (CET). The Saturday programme ‘Gesundheitsgespräch’ (health conversation) with Dr. Marianne will therefore be moved to Wednesdays. Further information will be announced in due course.

Luzia Tschirky has been appointed as Russia Correspondent for the Swiss national broadcaster Schweizer Radio und Fernsehen (SRF), effective spring 2019. She succeeds Christof Franzen at the Moscow bureau who will leave the editorial team after more than 10 years to pursue other interests. Luzia is currently completing SRF's journalism training programme and will then cover news from Russia and other regions of the former Soviet Union.

José Gabriel Herrero Aznárez is now Germany Correspondent for the Spanish national radio station Radio Nacional de España (RNE). He was previously a Reporter for the same broadcaster, where he has worked since 1982. Gabriel succeeds Fernando Martínez Chacón, who has returned to the main office in Madrid.
