The German national public broadcaster Zweites Deutsches Fernsehen (ZDF) has announced the following changes to its Correspondent team, effective 1st April 2019: 
Thomas Walde will be Studio Chief in Paris. Thomas has been a Correspondent and Deputy Studio Chief in Berlin since 2010. He succeeds Theo Koll, who at the same time will become Studio Chief in Berlin.
Shakuntala Banerjee will become Deputy Studio Chief in Berlin and Presenter for the ZDF news programme 'Berlin direkt', succeeding Thomas. She is currently a Correspondent and Reporter for the ZDF Studio in Brussels.
